About the PTA

At Camelsdale Primary School, every parent is automatically part of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA), and we warmly invite you to get involved! Our regular meetings provide a chance to discuss key fundraising events, share ideas, and hear updates from our Head Teacher, Mrs. Palmer, on the school’s progress and initiatives.
The PTA plays a vital role in organising events like the Summer and Christmas Fairs, social evenings, and cake sales. But that's not all—they also fund and organise many activities that make our school community truly special. From providing refreshments at school discos and sports day to organizing the Annual Easter Egg Hunt, the ‘annual sleepover,’ and even helping Father Christmas deliver gifts at the Christmas party, the PTA’s efforts enhance our children’s school experience in countless ways.

it’s fun, enjoyable and very rewarding, and great for the children to see their mums and dads supporting the school in this way!

Getting involved in the PTA is a great way to understand how the school works and contribute to shaping its future. Whether you can spare a little time or more, your participation is valuable and rewarding. Plus, it’s a wonderful opportunity for your children to see you actively supporting their school.

If you're interested in joining us or want to learn more, please email us at pta@camelsdale.w-sussex.sch.uk. We’d love to hear from you!

Employer Match Funding Schemes

Many companies offer match funding schemes through their HR or CSR departments.
Match funding allows employees to boost their fundraising efforts because their employer agrees to match the funds the employee raises for the organisation (ie the school).
Please would you consider checking with your company to see if they operate a Match Funding Scheme and then let the office know on office@camelsdale.w-sussex.sch.uk and then the school can liaise with the PTA.
