Clubs

***Internal club bookings for the Spring Term will go live on MCAS at 9pm on Wednesday 8th January 2025***

We offer a variety of before and after school clubs across both Infant and Junior years each term.

Clubs are supported by either our teachers, support staff or external providers and are competitively priced.

Information on clubs scheduled to run during the Spring Term 2025 and booking details are listed by day below.

Spaces are limited, please note if the club you wish your child to join is full and you would like them to join the waiting list, you will still need to book a place via your MCAS account to join the waiting list automatically when bookings open.

We work hard to ensure pupils get at least one club of their choice each term.

Spring Term 2025 - Monday

 

Children's Yoga with Julie 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Themed classes with a local qualified yoga teacher suitable for Years 1 through 6. For more information email Julie hereThis club starts on 13th January.

Wild Ones Club 3.30pm - 4.45pm 

Join Mr Gammon and Mrs Gittings in the school's Secret Garden for some wild cooking, wild crafting and wild fun! Open to pupils in Year 1 through Year 6. For more details email The Wild Ones hereTBC when Wild Ones starts.

Chess Club 3.30pm -4.30pm

Open to Year 1 through to Year 6, this popular club run by Mrs Palmer allows both new and experienced chess players to play and develop. Club starts 13th January.  MCAS booking open from 9pm Wednesday 8th January.

Coding Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Run by one of our Governors, Mr Seymour. Open to pupils in Year 5 and Year 6. Club starts 13th January. MCAS booking open from 9pm Wednesday 8th January.

Dance Live Performance Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm 

Open to juniors keen to represent the school in a dance performance at MRC in the Spring Term. This club starts on 13th January. This club is only open to those already enrolled.

Dance Live Tech Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

An opportunity to train and provide technical support for our performance at MRC in the Spring Term.  This club starts on 13th January. This club is only open to those already enrolled.

Lego & Construction Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

A great club for all Lego enthusiasts and budding engineers.  Open to pupils in Reception to Year 2  Club starts 13th January. MCAS booking open from 9pm Wednesday 8th January.

Spring Term 2025 - Tuesday

Karate Club 8am - 8.45am

Traditional Karate class with Corin Pegden 5th Dan, a long term student of Shiomitsu Sensei 9th Dan Hanshi, who is a world renowned martial artist. The lessons are disciplined but fun and will help students with confidence, coordination, focus, and fitness. Students will get a chance to grade and show progression after a period of training. Please contact Corin via email at info@surreykarate.co.uk to book a space and to ask any questions. Running Club 8.25am - 8.45am

How many laps of the field can you run over the course of a term? With eight laps of the path around the field equating to one mile this club celebrates the distances ran by all members each term with certificates and medals! Open to all in Year 1 through to Year 6. Club starts 14th January. MCAS booking open from 9pm Wednesday 8th January.

Drawing Masterclass 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Open to pupils in years 5 and 6 that are seriously interested in improving their art skills, this will be a chance to hone their skills with Mrs Bauer.  Club starts on 14th January.  MCAS booking open from 9pm on Wednesday 8th January. 

Wild Ones Club 3.30pm - 4.45pm

RepTylers Animal Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

This club is TBC. Open to pupils in years 3 to 6, RepTylers bring the zoo to you offering the chance to meet a new animal each week and enjoy some fun related activities to take home. TBC when this club starts. 

Lego Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Open to years 1 to 6, this club offers the children a chance to get creative with Lego.  Run by Brilliant Bricks, each week they will have an exciting theme and building challenge to complete with no instructions, just imagination.  The club starts on Tuesday 14th January. Infant After School Football Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm.

Provided by Kickstart Coaching and available to all pupils in Year 1 and Year 2. Bookings can be made directly on their website and are now open for this club commencing the 14th January.

Spring Term 2025 - Wednesday

Before School Sports Club 7.45am - 8.45am

Supported by professional providers JC Sports, details of this new club is are TBC.

Debating Club 12noon - 12.30pm

Open to Years 3 to 6, this will be a chance to have weekly debates over different topics with Mrs Owen.  Club starts on 15th January.  MCAS booking open from 9pm on Wednesday 8th January. 

After School Drama Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Supported by The Man In the Moon, this fun, after-school weekly drama workshop for children in Years 1 to 3, is designed to develop skills that will benefit them for life. Booking details on The Man In The Moon website here. This club starts on 15th January.

 

Felty Bees Craft Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Provided by Felty Bee Crafts explore lots of different crafts with a focus on creativity and wellbeing. Bookings can be made directly on the Felty Bee Crafts website for this club commencing the 15th January.

Spring Term 2025 - Thursday

Lunchtime Recorder Club Noon -12.30pm

Supported by Mrs Bull, this free lunchtime club is open to Year 3 and Year 4. Own recorder is preferable and you will need to purchase this book (CD version). Club starts 16th January. This club is only open to those already enrolled.

Junior After School Football Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm.

Provided by Kickstart Coaching and available to all pupils in Year 3 through to Year 6. Bookings can be made directly on their website and are now open for this club commencing the 16th January.

Book Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

Open to Year 2 and supported by Mrs Watts, this club is a lovely opportunity for book worms to spend time talking about books and hopefully and hopefully find a new book and author they love. Club starts 16th January. MCAS booking open from 9pm Wednesday 8th January.

Music Games and Singing Club 3.30pm - 4.30pm

A lovely chance to plays some music and singing based games with Mrs Juniper.  Open to Years 1 and 2, this club starts on 16th January.  MCAS booking open from 9pm Wednesday 8th January.

Open to Years 3 to 6, please email Mrs Juniper if your child would like to join our school junior choir. Junior Choir starts on Friday 10th January.
