Mrs Parry becomes Queen for the day
The menu has downgraded. It is at the bottom of this page.

Anne Parry who has worked at Camelsdale School for 30 years will be retiring at the end of the summer term
Anne will be greatly missed by everyone at Camelsdale, I'm not quite sure what the school is going to do without her!
On Friday 15th July Anne was made Queen for the day.
She was taken out to lunch while the staff, parents and children made the final preparations for the afternoons events

Anne returned from lunch to a School Road lined with flag waving children

There was a welcome and coronation by the Headteacher, Sarah Palmer

She was clapped and cheered

The children presented her with flowers

Then Queen Anne was escorted into the school to be entertained with music and song

A special throne had been prepared

The children and staff sang her a selection of songs from musicals, before the gifts were presented

Afterwards a tea party was held in the playground

The children had a picnic

The PTA served up cream teas to invited guests
Lots of former Governors, parents and friends attended

Anne gave an interview to local press who attended the occasion
