To achieve your LEARNER award you need to show that:-

• Your writing can be read by someone else - e.g. is legible.
• Your letters are correctly formed with an entry and exit stroke (60%) and face the right way.
• Your letters are correctly positioned on the line.
• Generally, your upper and lower case letters are not mixed up in a word.

Your Reward for this achievement is a Special Pencil presented in assembly.

To achieve your PRACTISING SCRIBE award you need to show that:-

• Your letters are nearly all correctly formed, facing the right way, joined and correctly positioned on the line.
• Most of your letters are joined.
• Your upper and lower case letters are not mixed up within a word.
• Your letters are generally the same size (50%).

Your Reward for this achievement is a Licence of Practising Scribe presented in assembly.

To achieve your SCRIBE award you need to show that:-

• Your letters are nearly all correctly formed, facing the right way ,joined and correctly positioned on the line.
• Your upper and lower case letters are not mixed within a word.
• Your letters are generally the same size (60%).
• The majority of your ascenders and descenders are correctly sized (60%).
• Your spacing between your words is good.
• Your writing fits well on our 7mm lined paper/or line guides.

Your Reward for this achievement is a Handwriting Pen presented in assembly.

To achieve your MASTER SCRIBE award you need to show that:-

• Your letters are nearly all correctly formed, facing the right way and correctly positioned on the line.
• All letters in your words are joined.

Your Reward for this achievement is a Certificate of Master Scribe presented in assembly and a Special Design Black Gel Pen.

To achieve your GRAPHIC ARTIST & EXPERT SCRIBE award you need to show that:-

• Your letters are nearly all correctly formed, facing the right way, joined and correctly positioned on the line.
• All your letters are the same regular size.
• Your handwriting is fluent with letter and words spaced correctly.
• Your handwriting has a personal style and is stunning to look at!
• Your computer work shows use of different fonts, letter sizes, borders and pictures - the finished result makes you go “wow”!
• Your displayed writing also has the “wow” factor!
• Your presentation in your exercise books is consistently of a high quality.

Your Reward for this achievement is a Special Graphic Artist & Scribe Certificate and Italic Pen presented in assembly.
