The Rainbow Theatre Company visited school and the YR
and Y1 classes watched a play on road safety to build on all the
work they do in our Footsteps Programme. In the play Muzzy has
a dream in which he has several accidents on his way to Circus
School. The children then helped him learn what he must do to
stay safe on the roads.
The
children were asked to consider why it is not a good idea to
use the car more often than one needs to.
A Policeman reminded Muzzy not to play with his dog
on the road and offered to help him cross the road - Muzzy didn't
think he needed any help!
It seemed like Muzzy could have done with that help after all!
Luckily the paramedics were soon on the scene.
Muzzy
learnt the hard way that if you can see a white light on a car then
it is coming towards you
